‘Hamilton’ Cast Member Kristen Hoagland Brings Broadway to BTCA
The Ballet Theatre of Carmel Academy (BTCA) hosts the Hamilton Master Series with Kristen Hoagland on December 16th. There will be two sessions, 4-5:30 pm, and 6-7:30 pm.
Ms. Hoagland is a cast member with the Broadway National Tour of Hamilton, An American Musical. Appropriately, she is originally from Hamilton, New Jersey and has performed on “America’s Got Talent” and “The Rachel Ray Show.”
“It is going to be fun!” says Jane Hachiya-Weiner, co-Artistic Director of the BTCA. “Kristen has been teaching since she graduated high school, I’m sure she will quickly connect with the students.”
Registration is open to all. “It’s a great opportunity for young dancers,” she adds. “I’m excited!”
The Hamilton Master Series is presented by Simon & Thompson Entertainment. Students have a memorable and inspirational experience while improving their dance and performance skills.
Between classes there will be a 30-minute Q&A. Students are encouraged to ask Kirsten about her career as a dancer, auditions, her jump to Broadway, and the excitement of performing every night! Parents are invited to join the classroom for the Q&A.
