Eligibility Requirements to Participate in Metropolitan Youth Ballet’s Full-Length Productions

Participation in full-length classical ballet productions is both technically and aerobically challenging, as well as being artistically enriching for the ballet student of a pre-professional ballet academy. Ballet Technique class is the mainstay of a balanced and healthy training regimen for ballet dancers of all levels. (Professional dancers attend ballet technique classes daily throughout their career.)

In order to ensure the health and safety for our ballet students who choose to participate in our two annual full-length ballet productions, we require all participating dancers to maintain their technique class attendance requirements as follows.
