Celebrate the Golden Age of Ballet with Three Iconic Acts in Ballet Theatre of Carmel Academy’s Enchanted Tales!

Be part of the story as a magical bird, mystical woodland nymphs, a whimsical dragonfly, a field of lively flowers, and 6 beautiful princesses bring tales of magic, romance, and beauty to life on stage this May in the ballet ENCHANTED TALES! Featuring The Firebird with Les Slyphides and an Anna Pavlova Tribute!

The Firebird tells the story of heroic Prince Ivan and his quest to win the heart of his true love, Princess Vasilisa. With the help of the beautiful and powerful Firebird and her magical feathers, he must defeat the evil sorcerer Kashei who holds her captive and threatens to turn the entire kingdom to stone! Complete with fantastical fairies and menacing minions, a glittering golden apple tree and an exquisite royal wedding, stunning choreography, gorgeous costumes, and intoxicating music, The Firebird is a must-see ballet for all ages!

Les Sylphides is an exquisitely beautiful ballet set to the other-worldly music of Chopin. Audiences will be enchanted as mystical forest fairies – the Sylphs – in flowing white tutus glide and dance through the moonlight with a young gentleman poet. Part dream, part vision, part romantic reverie, 100% delightful!

Anna Pavlova Tribute will inspire and move you with adaptations of iconic ballerina Anna Pavlova’s most famous roles – “The Dragonfly”, “The Dying Swan” and “La Peri”, as well as a brand new work, “Search for a Dragonfly” choreographed by BTCA’s Artistic Director Jane  Hachiya-Weiner!

Ticket sales are closed, but you can still get a recording of the show. Order as USB or Video on Demand and watch as many times as you want!
Video on Demand is available to view from 6/14 at 7pm to 9/13 at 7pm (ET).
